Taco Pizza mini's made with biscuits
What’s better than a delicious cheesy Taco Pizza? One that you make in a matter of minutes by using refrigerator biscuits! I love finding easy hacks, like using crescent rolls to make a Taco Ring. My kids love to help make these because it is easy & versatile, so they can add the toppings they want!
Whenever I have the chance to order pizza when we’re out, I look for Taco Pizza. I love pizza sauce but there’s something about this taco pizza that is so good you don’t even notice the sauces (or pepperoni slices) are missing. Is the best of both worlds – Taco’s and Pizza wrapped up in one delicious mouth-watering meal!
This recipe even takes out a step of making homemade pizza crust by using refrigerator biscuits to make a mini version. What I love about this is that everyone can personalize their pizza by adding the toppings they love!
Plus, if I have any leftover ingredients, I use it in my Taco Bake Casserole.
How to Make Mini Taco Pizza
Ingredients You Need
- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 1 Package Taco Seasoning
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 2 Cans Refrigerated Biscuits
- 2 Cups Cheese
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
- Olives
Healthier Option: If you’re trying to eat healthier, you could use a wheat tortilla shell in place of the biscuits. This is really yummy too!
Instructions for Making Taco Pizzas
Start by browning your ground beef in a medium pan over high heat. Next, add the taco seasoning and water. Mix well and let simmer for five minutes.
While the meat is simmering, place your refrigerator biscuits on a pan and spread them with your fingers. Then, top each biscuit with a good amount of meat and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. They will be golden brown when they are ready to come out.
When they are cooked, you can top them with just about anything including lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and sour cream if desired!
My boys love having these mini pizzas or our homemade Pepperoni Twists as an after school snack too! I don’t even mind making them because they’re so easy!
Pro Tip: I’ve even made them in a muffin tin and they are just as good & easy that way!

Before putting the taco meat on,,could you use a little pizza sauce on the biscuit first? They do sound delicious and something my grandchildren would enjoy as well as myself!

I’d try it! (Or even let them dip it in sauce)
