Who’s in the mood for a delicious and refreshing homemade strawberry lemonade this summer? The weather here in Iowa is finally starting to warm up and this is the perfect easy beverage to enjoy out on the patio with the family. If we’re not enjoying this recipe we love to make Watermelon Lemonade, they’re both perfect for summer!
My boys even love this recipe the tart lemon with a little sweetness of strawberry makes the perfect flavor combination for a summer drink!
We like to make this when we’re out camping too, it’s pretty easy for me to make the simple syrup with the strawberries at home before we head out on our trip, then just mix it together with the lemon juice and water once we’re out camping. You could easily mix in an adult beverage to this recipe too if you want to try that!
My youngest son loves to help in the kitchen, in fact, he has his own Kids in the Kitchen Facebook Cooking show right now that’s awesome! He has made this recipe a couple times on his own, so that should tell you that it’s pretty easy AND that he loves it!
