You don’t have to be out camping to enjoy the chocolatey sweet Smores treat! Try making these Nacho Smores at home in the oven, your kids will love them!
One of my families favorite things to do is go camping, we try to hit as many different parks in Iowa on as many weekends as we can during the months of April and October. Even though my boys are getting older, they love it too. There’s just something relaxing about sitting around the campfire, talking, making smores and enjoying each other.
Of course, making smores every time we go out camping is a family tradition. My kids and anyone who’s with us, look forward to toasting marshmallows over a fire to make that chocolatey ooey gooey treat.
We’ve decided to bring that deliciousness home with us and enjoy it year round and not just when we’re camping. These yummy Nacho Smores are made in the oven right in your kitchen! They’re simple to make too!
How to Make Nacho Smores
Ingredients You Need
- 1 Package Graham Crackers
- 2 Cups Chocolate Chips
- 2 Cups Mini Marshmallows
Using a small cast iron pan, layer the graham crackers, chocolate chips and marshmallows in the pan. I like to try and place the graham crackers so they’re easy to grab and pull out of the pan. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the marshmallows start to brown. Enjoy!
Another great option for this recipe is to add some peanut butter! We like to use Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups when we make Smores camping, you’d be surprised how the peanut butter really adds to the sweet treat! If you’re going to add peanut butter into this dish, simply add a few Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups to the pan before toasting everything in the oven!
These Yummy Nacho Smores are simple to make just like our Four Ingredient Banana Ice Cream!
