This Low Carb Keto Chili was an Instant hit at the table last night.   I made this keto chili recipe for my boys and parents last night… they loved this no bean chili version that was packed with peppers, mushrooms and more.

Don’t make the same mistake as I did of thinking that keto recipes can’t have all of the flavors of a non-keto recipe.  This keto version wouldn’t be able to hit all the marks but believe me the flavor is still there and absolutely amazing!  (It’s like our Crockpot Salsa Chicken – you don’t even notice that it’s low carb!)

Note: If you’re not on a Keto Diet or you aren’t following any Keto Meal Plans (to put your body into ketosis short term so you can burn fat quicker), try making a homemade cornbread alongside this delicious soup! 😉

Hey, everyone!  It’s Chrissy from The Taylor House and I’m so excited to share this amazing and simple recipe with you that absolutely anyone can make!

Is Chili Ok On Keto?

No, Chili can’t be in the Keto category unless Beans are taken out of the recipe. Beans are high in carbs and don’t fit the bill for a low carb diet.

Because beans are a big part of chili, adding in more peppers, mushrooms, ground turkey, cheese, etc. help fill that emptiness of the recipe.

And I am not exaggerating but melted cheese and avocados really didn’t make me miss the beans or carb intake at all.

This Keto-friendly chili recipe hits all the marks. Get creative using Keto toppings like avocado and cheese or adding in additional peppers and mushrooms. Yum!
Ps- You can add some rolls for the kids!  Our kids love to dip their rolls in the chili after they eat most of it.
