The kids and I put our minds together and came up with a fun “snack kabobs”.
We loved this because it uses their favorite things – Reese’s cups, strawberries and marshmallows.
First- get everything that you need:
- Reese’s Cups
- Marshmallows (you can use any kind, but we got colorful ones to make it a little more fun)
- Strawberry (any fruit would work)
- Skewers(here is where we found the Reese’s Cups at Walmart)
So lay everything out:
Then start assembling your snack sticks
Get the kids involved! Our kids helped us to make them and they LOVED this. They each figured out a pattern and went with it.
Use your extra Reese’s cups as a base in your bowl or vase. It will hold your skewers in place:
Keep working until you get them just how you want them.
These are so good and we had a blast making them. The beauty of these snack sticks is that when we are watching the big game, we can just grab one and head back over to the game. Our guests won’t have to worry about carrying a bowl or grabbing what they need, because we are making it all ready in one easy grab with their snack stick. (We are also leaving a few out for the kids to make new ones during the game).
Oh- and for the grand-finale dessert for the get-together? This beautiful cake made by my friend Maria Kertesz. How amazing is this?! (Isn’t she talented!) You can see all of her cakes here.
Oh- and I stopped by Party City & grabbed this centerpiece to keep near all of the food. How fun!
We decorated the table for the Big Game & it looks awesome!

These are so cute! Such a fun and easy to do treat! I love that the kids are able to help make it!
Thanks! Yep- they will help with anything that they can! Our son, Beau, wants to start his own YouTube channel to “teach people how to make things”. lol – he’s 6! 🙂 (he is the one in the picture)
