Our kids love pepperoni rolls.  They started eating them a few years ago when Mickey’s family would make them.  Now, they ask for them at least once a week.  So, I found a really quick way to make them in no time (literally less than ten minutes).   I am partnering with Sister Schubert’s® Dinner Yeast Rolls for today’s recipe.  Enjoy!

I make Sister Schubert’s Dinner Yeast Rolls  every single night.  I know that sounds crazy to give to them after wrestling practice, but they are hungry and I need a quick, filling snack for them (quick because wrestling is over around 7:30 and I need them to go to bed) and filling because they have just worked hard for two hours at practice and they always come home hungry.   These are warm, delicious and perfect.

To make them…

Take Sister Schubert’s Dinner Yeast Rolls and thaw them for about 5 minutes.   In the meantime, cut up strips of pepperoni.  You could use slices (pre-cut) but we like the stick of pepperoni better and it is easy to cut.   Cut up string cheese, too. (I quarter it)

Now place on strip of Pepperoni and one piece of the cheese into each Sister Schubert’s Dinner Yeast Roll.  Be sure that when you cut the pepperoni, you made it thin enough to cook and get those juices out (that’s what makes it taste so good!)

Now put some butter on top of the Sister Schubert’s Dinner Yeast Rolls (before you cook them) and bake it at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.   They are so good!
