Today I am sharing a few Spooky Snacks with you.. and some pictures of our kids in their new Halloween Costumes.

So, my rule in the past has always been that we do not do scary costumes.   Well, this year, they finally got me to bend on it… a little.  This year they bought Skeleton costumes.  TruMoo Orange Scream (You’ll see more on this below with our snacks) inspired us to take this sponsored shopping trip to buy our costumes and our kids had a blast picking out just the right ones.

I can say that this was the 4th year that I can remember the kids asking me for skeleton costumes… so I caved!  haha!!  Yes, all THREE BOYS bought the same skeleton costume!

Here they are, in all of their spookiness…   (MAKE NOTE OF  THE SPOOKY MEAN FACES…)

 And another one…

And, of course… our beautiful Bumble Bee (perfect after my Bumble Bee Party Post, right??)

Well, the fun doesn’t stop there… our kids asked me if we could make a spooky “special treat”.  (Here is where TruMoo comes into play… remember how I mentioned them above?)

I had to think outside of the box for this one because I wanted them to be fun, festive and easy to make.

We had just bought these TruMoo Orange Scream drinks the other day… (our kids wanted them because they were ORANGE… they are the limited edition ones)  It is flavored low-fat milk.  It does not have high fructose corn syrup or artificial growth hormones, so I said yes.

And together we made these snacks:
A glass of orange juice next to a cup of coffee

Do you want to learn how to make them?
First up was the Paranormal Pudding (print it here):

Next up is the Monster Mash Float (print it here)

The kids loved them and they had fun at our own little Halloween Party after buying our new costumes.  They could dress up any month of the year, but Halloween certainly makes it a little more fun!
