With four children, my hope was that I would bring them home from the hospital and we would all sleep soundly through the night, waking refreshed and ready for this new chapter of our lives.  If you want to know why your baby isn’t sleeping through the night… I’ve learned (with our 4 kids) that it all boils down to routine.♥

“Welcome back to reality, Becky”... When I thought that our first baby would sleep all night long and it didn’t happen for over a year, I was jolted into reality.  By the fourth baby, I knew a little more about babies and sleep.   I had finally figured it out.

When my cousin’s baby was born, I was more than ready to pass on that baby-sleep advice to her!
(Here she is with her baby…)

Casey’s baby is such a perfect baby- he sleeps well, he is happy and he is just adorable!♥

Today, we partnered with JOHNSON’S® to bring you our best advice on how to help your baby to sleep, because is it is hard to be a well-functioning mama if I don’t get a little bit of sleep (seriously).   I needed our babies to sleep to allow the five others in our family sleep, as well.  I’m sure you can relate, if you are reading this.

We started by downloading their app and taking the Tonight We Sleep 7-Day Challenge.
You can find it on the BEDTIME® Baby Sleep app.  The app will help you to figure out exactly what YOU need to do to help YOUR baby to sleep.  It is customized to you and your baby.   When we tried this, we were amazed at how well it worked!   We loved the little quiz, asking about your baby and how well he sleep, too.  We followed the JOHNSON’S® clinically proven 3-Step BEDTIME® Routine.  We did this because studies show that babies sleep better in just one week with the help of JOHNSON’S® 3-Step bedtime routine, which can help your baby fall asleep up to 30% faster and be 58% less likely to wake up during the night.:

1- STEP #1:
Warm Bath
We both love the way that JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® baby bath, JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® baby bubble bath and wash or JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® baby moisture wash smell, but the beauty of it is that it works to help make your baby sleepy and help them to stay asleep.

2- STEP #2:
JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® baby lotion to give your baby a gentle massage after bath time).

Step #3:
Quiet Time

Our first son slept so well when he had his music on.  A lullaby or soft music is perfect.  We just kept a cheap CD player in his room with a lullaby CD playing softly.  My cousin uses an app that plays soft bedtime music.

JOHNSON’S® developed a special blend of gentle and calming aromas designed to help soothe baby before bed, which can be found in all JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® products
