This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of BROOKSIDE Chocolate for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine. Earlier this week, I shared some ideas for a themed holiday party. Here are a few ideas that I think your guests would love.
- Always have something sitting on the table, for your guests to munch on. I like to have bowls of candy on each of the tables (coffee table, end table, kitchen table) in the house. This gives them the opportunity to sit and snack without having to grab a plate. The best ones for this are little bite-sized candies. We like Brookside Chocolate (the rich, dark chocolate with sweetened soft centers made with fruit flavors.)
- I love this tips from mamalovesfood.com. Pulverize candy canes and add them to your hot chocolate.
- Use mini candy canes to be the placeholders for food – letting your guests know what you are serving. (thanks to industriousjustice.com for this tip)
- Serve up a Grinch Drink at your party by mixing sprite and green sherbet. (great idea from makeandtakes.com)
- Hold a little giveaway. Let everyone take a ticket or number when they come in and give away some fun prizes when they leave. I like to give away a bag of the candy that was on all of the tables, since most of my guests will be wanting more of it tomorrow. 🙂 I would let the guests pick the flavor (person called first gets to pick first, etc…) The flavors of Brookside are Brookside Dark Chocolate Acai & Blueberry Flavors, Brookside Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Flavor, Brookside Dark Chocolate Goji & Raspberry Flavors, Brookside Dark Chocolate Whole Cranberries and Brookside Dark Chocolate Crunchy Clusters Berry Medley Flavors (Mickey’s favorite!)
