When it comes to making easy recipes, I always turn to my slow cooker for help. There’s just something I love about being able to toss a few ingredients into the slow cooker in the morning and walking in the house that night to an amazing smelling meal that’s seconds away from plating and enjoying with my family.

It makes meal time so much easier and limits the time I have to spend in the kitchen which means I have more time with my family or to work on something else. We even have a FREE Slow Cooker ebook for you to download and use to make your menu planning even more simple. These recipes are some of my favorites and they’re all really easy to make!

Let’s get to the recipe!

  • 1/2 Cup Red Onion

Instructions

Step 1 – Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker

Step 3 – Pour over the chicken breasts

Step 4 – Cook on low in the slow cooker for 3 hours

Step 5 – Drain the sauce and shred the chicken.

Step 6 – Enjoy on hamburger buns with extra BBQ sauce if needed.  Yum!

Note: You do not have to use the diced onion if your family isn’t a fan of this. I love onion in everything so I always add it!

This slow cooker Coke Chicken freezers really nicely too, so if you make a double batch so you can pull it out another night to warm up in the microwave it will be just as delicious!

A couple other favorites of ours are Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup and Crock Pot French Dip Sandwiches! I think you’ll love all these recipes just as much as we do!
