Here are 10 last minute shopping tips:
1. Make a list & check it twice – avoid spending, just to spend. Make a list and let it sit for a day. Go back & edit your list.
2. Shop online. Most stores are offering to deliver your gift before Christmas day if orders are placed by Dec. 20. You can even get them up to the night of the 22nd, but place your order soon! I love Sears.com because they are quick to ship and offer a variety of things that everyone loves! (ps- Sears.com also offers in-vehicle pickup, so it is even faster!)
3. Second hand stores. A friend of mine does all of her shopping from thrift stores & consignment stores. She finds a ton of great bargains and the kids don’t care if it doesn’t come in the box (we take the boys out of the box on Christmas even anyway!)
4. Give. You could even donate in their name.
5. Do-it-yourself. Make something special. This Birthday Calendar is always a hit and it is very personalized, so it makes for a great gift.
6. Shop early in the morning, before the frenzy of last-minute shoppers begins.
