The clock is ticking to Christmas Day, and while time is running out, the good news is that last-minute shopping is a great time to find terrific deals on great gifts. I love to give gift cards when I can. Yes, they may be easier for me (yay!) but they are always appreciated by the receiver. I try to make them more personal by giving them in a fun way. I am partnering with Sears for this post because Sears’ last-minute shopping deals using their convenient services makes holiday shopping even easier!
Sears has a lot of great little tools for you to makes shopping easier. The Sears app is perfect for a busy shopper. You can find what you want quickly and compare prices and features. I like to put a few little notes of what I think my receiver of the gift card would want (Example: check out the adorable slippers!)
With the app, you can find deals, make the most of Shop Your Way points; make purchases, and track orders. Plus, for a limited time, as a special reward for Shop Your Way members who refresh the app or for new members who download it, Sears is offering $5 in points on your next purchase of $15 or more. I include that in the gift card, too, because they would probably want $5 more. (who wouldn’t?!)

So- here are 10 ways to give a gift card, in a fun way!
1). In a snow globe, like this adorable one below from The scrap shoppe blog.
2. Find your favorite paper, that reminds you of them… and make it into a gift card holder
3. Empty containers: Turn empty containers into beautiful gift card holders with some glue and glitter (find out how to turn old thumb-tack boxes into gift box holders here.)
4. Repurpose a mason jar & twine to make a festive, cozy gift-card holder. Get the directions here.
5. M&Ms with a sweet note and a gift card are the perfect way to give a gift! You can find the poem here.

I would hide it in the candy mason jar
I would send one in a glitter box. That idea is so pretty to me.
I love your jar of m&m’s idea. Some people think gift cards are impersonal but I love them! Clutter free gift to give and receive!!
The snow globe is adorable and very interesting! I like the mason jar also but would be afraid the recipient wouldn’t realize the gift card was inside and would leave the candy sitting forever.
I absolutely LOVE the M & M jar gift card presenter! Cute presentation and poem. Happy New Year!
A jar full of candy is a sneaky fun way to present a gift card! I’ve personally received a gift card behind a picture for an anniversary gift- so personal! The picture was wonderful in itself but add in a dinner gift card cleverly hiding behind that sweet picture- home run!
