Have I ever told you that I have engineers in our house?   Four of them, to be exact! They love to build, design and create. This year, we planned our son’s fourth birthday party around that theme. We decided to have a Thomas the Tank party and he loved every second of it! We were inspired to have the party because our kids love building their own tracks- Check out the new Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster ™ Online and build your very own track design (available toward the end of October).   Our kids are such builders… mini engineers!

So- to start off our party, we gave them each their own Train Conductor Hat.

Next, we got out all of the awesome new toys, like the TrackMaster™ motorized engines. They have been redesigned to be SO fast & powerful.  The kids loved them because they went faster and climbed higher than ever before, driving Thomas & Friends™ to greater speeds, taller heights and bigger adventures! You know that your kids are going to love that!

Their favorite game/toy at the party, by far, was the Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™ Avalanche Escape Set. It comes with fast motorized engines that the kids just loved! Thomas gets to make his way up a 30 degree incline before crossing an avalanche gap and racing down the other side.

We let them play with all of the toys- we opened them as a group and the kids were so excited with each new Thomas & Friends™ toy that I brought out!  Here they are about to open the Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™ Troublesome Traps Set.

One little boy actually said “No Way! Another Thomas toy? This is awesome!” Haha!

While the kids were eating cake, we put on the Thomas & Friends™ Tale of The Brave DVD. They were glued to the TV because they loved the movie. It was a great way to calm everyone down just a bit, before the party came to an end. Plus, when the movie was over, they were talking about new ‘track design’ ideas, so I’m sure that they had a lot ot say to their parents on the ride home.

The final piece of the party puzzle was our thank you notes… aren’t they adorable?  (The hats do adjust, but he wanted it big like his big brother’s. haha!  Pick your battles, right?)

PS-the best part is that the new TrackMaster™ sets are compatible with the older versions, allowing your little engineer to continue to expand on the world of Thomas & Friends ™ TrackMaster™
