On a daily basis, I repeat the same things over & over.  “Did you clean your room?”  “Did you make your bed?”  Here are some things moms say every day:

A colorful drawing of a mom and children with text beside them.

– DID YOU BRUSH YOUR TEETH?

– DID YOU USE THE BATHROOM?

-I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

– WHERE IS THE OTHER SHOE?

-DID YOU WASH YOUR HANDS?

-I’M GOING TO COUNT TO THREE.

-ONE MORE BITE.

-MAYBE LATER.

-WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?

-OK.  ONE MORE TIME.  I MEAN IT THIS TIME.

The funny thing is that it just becomes second nature, doesn’t it?  I know that our 8 year old probably forgot to make his bed, so every morning, I say “Did you make your bed?”   I know that our 9 year old may have forgotten to shut the back door when he comes in, so I’ll say “Did you shut the back door?”   We don’t even think about it, the words just come out.

Can you add to the list?  What funny things to you say to your kids every day?   Oh- I should have added this one to mine:  “We’re late!  Everyone hurry up!  Seriously guys!!”   That is the story of my life!   haha!

OK… your turn!
