I wanted to share these 5 ways to save money this holiday season. You might know about these, or you might not, but either way, leave me your favorite tips, too!
Shopping for gifts does NOT have to be stressful- these 5 tips are all about EASY SOLUTIONS TO SAVE YOU MONEY, TIME & STRESS!
1- Be online with social media- Staring today, find your favorite companies (like Target) and follow them online. You will see when they have great discounts on things that you have been waiting to buy (that awesome camera, for example!) You can even search their pictures on Facebook to find out what you’ve missed this week.
2- Get the store app! A friend of mine told me to download the app for Target called Cartwheel. It has been awesome! Seriously. You just scan your item and it will tell you if there is an extra discount. So- last week I bought brownie mix and it was 50 Cents off with the Cartwheel app. I bought a sweater for $3 off and I bought a toy for 50% off. These are all things that I would never had know about without the app. Its like a secret savings app!
3- Shop online! When you shop online, you have the capability of following a product until you find it for the price that you are willing to pay! I go to Target.com every day and check out the products that I want to buy. I’ve seen them go on sale and I jump on the sales price! I use the store pickup to just run in and pick it up (they have it ready for me already… you buy online and you pick it up at customer service. It is awesome!)
4- Follow your favorite retailers via email. I suggested that you follow them on social media, but signing up for their newsletters gives you the best tips, so that you can be the first know about sales! When I subscribe at Target I know that I will be getting first-hand knowledge of all of their specials!
5- Use a credit card that saves you money! I know that Target has their Red Card (a debit that takes money right from your account) to save you 5%. My other card also offers points, to give us cash back when we get enough. This makes shopping online even better… you saved money, got money BACK and you did it all in your PJ’s!
