My husband must have been curious about what is in a mom’s purse, because last night he wrote a post on this.   Let me give you the full story…

Last night I went to the grocery store (we were out of the actual things that you are not supposed to run out of: Milk, Eggs & Bread).   I got all the way to the store (well- it is only about five minutes up the road, but still) are couldn’t find my purse (or wallet) so I called Mickey on his cell phone and asked him to check if I had left it at home. Sure enough- I had.

I guess that was enough for him to be curious about why my purse was so heavy.

In the meantime, he made a little video that I found on his YouTube page yesterday when I woke up, with a note on my computer that said “Love you, Babe… push play!”

He had made a video of everything that was in my purse. Hahaha!!!   No- seriously!   He made a video and about why mom’s carry such giant purses. (Tell me I’m not alone in this!)

Without further ado… the inside of my purse, as told by my husband, Mickey Mansfield.

  1. You are definitely not alone. When my daughter was born my cleaner asked me where I “Mom purse” was?? I am not a purse person, so I laughed at her. My daughter was 3 months old when I got my ‘Mom purse’. I too have extra socks, you can’t go to the playground at the mall without them and I got tired of buying socks, and now that she’s older, hair elastics and a brush, Lego, drinks, stuffed animals, wipes, sunglasses…..
