I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Starbucks. I received a promotional item and a gift card to facilitate my review.

Who wants a Mother’s Day Idea that includes a great deal??   Me!!

I think that it is very true that someone can buy you all the gifts in the world, but you remember the time that you spent with them most of all.   Spend your time together and start a tradition of a Mother’s Day Tea with this buy one get one free tea at starbucks (read on for details)
Two cups of Starbucks with text above it.

Every year, for Mother’s Day, my Mom and I try to go out for tea for Mothers Day.   We started it when I was living at home.  We went to a really quaint tea-house by my childhood home and then when we moved to North Carolina, we started finding places here that we so much fun!  I really love that time that the two of us can spend together.  I look forward to the day that my daughter can join in.

Anyways, This Mother’s Day, Starbucks will be offering a Buy One Get One Free Teavana Oprah Chai Tea beverage. (Let me tell you that it is delicious- treat your Mom, grandma, sister, friend… to a tea and some great conversation!)

It gets even better… Starbucks will be making a donation for each Teavana Oprah Chai product sold to benefit educational opportunities for youth through the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation.   So, you can enjoy a free tea and help children, all at the same time!  It doesn’t get much better than that, right?

I think that having time out with just one other person is really a gift in itself.   You are able to focus your attention on that one person.

Now that I have four children, my Mom and I have to find a different day to celebrate her as a Mother, since I will be home getting my own wonderfully hand-made cards and gifts from my four sweet blessings!
