I wrote this b-day party post & review while participating in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Playskool. I received product samples to facilitate my party and review, and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
I wanted to share this Elmo Birthday Party because I love to share fun & easy Birthday Parties with you. Last week I shared our friend’s bee-day party and today I am sharing this Elmo party. Enjoy!
Lets start with the toy that sparked this idea…
This Let’s Imagine Elmo Doll with 4 hats!!
Its perfect for little hands and specifically designed to enhance developmental skills through play. You will love the 2014 Playskool collection as much as your kiddos!
This is from the Elmo the Musical segment on Sesame Street (our daughter loves when she hears this part come on the TV)- this doll is an interactive LET’S IMAGINE ELMO plush! This cute 13-inch Elmo comes with three different hats to let your kids imaginations soar!
She just puts the crown on Elmo’s head in order to play a game of “Prince Elmo Says,” pop on the cowboy hat to learn about numbers in the “Countin’ Cowboy” game, or put on the sea captain hat for a fun “Sounds of the Sea” game.
The kids can also tickle his belly, squeeze his nose, or bounce him for a fun reaction.
So we started planning…
We had fruit:
And vegetable platters (idea inspired by Party City)
We had cookies (ordered from Etsy)…
We had Elmo Cups (ordered from Etsy):
And of course, a party isn’t complete without DRESSING THE PART in their Lets Imagine Hats….
For our daughter’s birthday, she got that Elmo doll and to say that ALL of our kids love it is an understatement. haha!
They loved all of her new toys…
(One little boy couldn’t put down the Transformers Mixable, Mashable Heroes Optimus Prime and Grimlock Toy – he LOVED it!) You just squeeze the Grimlock figure’s eyes and watch as his jaw chomps and launches a projectile! Every kid’s dream… right?
Including this one:
Six ‘Stack N’ Spin Monkey Gears
This is so fun- you place colorful gears all around the monkey’s belly, hands, and feet. Once all the gears are set, press the central gear to make them turn, hear silly monkey music, and watch little lights twinkle!
Here they are playing with it…
All in all, this party was a huge success!
I’d love to hear all about your child’s Sesame Street party!
