A project a day keeps their boredom at bay
A project a day keeps their boredom at bay

Here are some easy preschool projects to do at home …

We love play dough at our house! I have a play-dough box. It hold a tablecloth, play dough (stored in airtight container), and all of their play-dough toys.

Another fun project (& easy): DRAWING WITH A WHITE CRAYON ON COLORED PAPER

You can always just give them PAPER, kid SCISSORS & A GLUE STICK.  (Nothing elaborate or planned. 🙂

Their favorite is to just have an empty cardboard box & do whatever they want with it (cut/glue/color)

Also they love when I lay out a big sheet of white paper and give them paint (remember their aprons!)

We read often (mostly at night or nap time) & sing songs (their favorite song is “Tutty Ta” by Dr. Jean).

We run errands & go outback to play.  We have some awesome neighbors around us & they all have kids, so our kids are always busy with friends. 🙂

Hi there!

I’m Becky, a former elementary school teacher turned certified child development therapist and blogger. I work at home with my husband and together we are raising (and partially homeschooling) our four children in the Carolinas. I love diet coke, ice cream, and spending time with my family.
