Here is a short video that I made when I had a few minutes (under 5 minutes) on a few ideas to help your child to have better comprehension skills.  If you can help to build comprehension skills in your child, they will do much better in school. I know that so many of us are dealing with this right now, with the newer, harder curriculum in our schools, so I hope that this sheds some light on what you can do to help.
As I explain in the video, this is so very important for your child.

I hope that was helpful to you! Leave your best suggestions below!
How to build your child's comprehension skills

Hi there!

I’m Becky, a former elementary school teacher turned certified child development therapist and blogger. I work at home with my husband and together we are raising (and partially homeschooling) our four children in the Carolinas. I love diet coke, ice cream, and spending time with my family.
