Coconut Oil Turkey Meatballs with bacon…

You are going to love these!

A bunch of flavored meatballs with text below them.
Last week, I had a great time attending a “Fresh eating” informational meeting at a friend’s house.  We talked about the importance of eating wholesome foods and feeding these to our family.

While we were there, we had the opportunity to grab some new GREAT recipes to try with our family and this was, by far, my favorite recipe…

Coconut Oil Turkey Meatballs

Here is how you make them…

Start with Ground Turkey & a package of Butterball Turkey Bacon. – you will use SIX slices of the Turkey bacon, Finely chopped. (I specifically pick this brand because Butterball turkey products are lean and taste great, so you can make better choices for your family.  Our kids will only eat what tastes good, but I like to give them what is fresh and wholesome. (We also buy their burgers, bacon & sausage and deli meat for the kid’s lunches – it really makes the best sandwiches from the turkey they love at Thanksgiving every year.

So, here are the ingredients:

Ingredients lined up on a table.

1 pounds Butterball Ground Turkey

1 package of Butterball Turkey Bacon (6 slices, finely chopped)

2 T. Full Fat coconut milk (canned, shaken)

3 T. Coconut Flour

2 T. Coconut Secret (coconut aminos)

1 T. 100% maple syrup

1/4 t. ground ginger

1/4-1/2 t. minced garlic

just a sprinkle/pinch of salt

1 T. coconut Oil (melted)”

1/4 cup chopped parsley

Combine all of these ingredients

A close up raw ingredients mixed together in a glass bowl.

Make ball shapes & place them on foil-lined baking sheet

Bake for 25 minutes & then remove them from the oven.

Serve with rice and roasted carrots.

Overall, its a great option for dinner for a few reasons and using Butterball is a healthier choice for your family without having to give up taste, so they will love it and gobble it up without any complaints!
