The Best Disney World Rides to Reserve with FastPass+

I’ve shared my favorite tips for Disney World and how we went to Disney for half price, so today I wanted to share the top rides to use with your FastPass. The Best Disney World Rides to Reserve with FastPass+

Disney’s Fastpass+ feature allows you to make advance reservations to enjoy certain rides and attractions. It basically does away with standing in line for what seems like hours.

You’re only allowed to make three of these reservations per day. So, use them wisely.  I wanted to share a short list of some of the best rides to consider when scheduling your FastPass+ options.  Did I mention this service is totally free?

Oh!  You’ll want to book these passes at least 30 days ahead of time, if possible, for the best chance at your top picks.

TOP RIDES TO USE WITH YOUR FAST PASS:

Cinderella\'s castle in Disney World.

1. Space Mountain

Space Mountain is a classic ride, among the most popular in the Magic Kingdom. It’s high speeds and dark atmosphere is sure to draw in a crowd throughout the day, regardless of the time of year you choose to visit.

2. Toy Story Mania

Toy Story Mania is a part of Toy Story Land, the recent addition to Hollywood Studios. Because it’s new, all the attractions tend to have longer lines. So, this fun (interactive) ride is totally worth one of your Fastpass+ picks. To infinity and beyond!

3. Star Tours

A treat for Star Wars fans, young and old alike, Star Tours is a ride whose mission is to take you through a number of randomized storylines. You’re transported to different planets in the Star Wars universe each time you ride.

Since you’re encouraged to ride multiple times, you may want to use the Fastpass+ on this ride so that you have one less wait in line.   (Our kids liked this one)

4. Kilimanjaro Safari

Beginning Memorial Day Weekend, Animal Kingdom park stays open into the night. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy some of your favorite attractions in a whole new perspective.

Rest assured, the nighttime Kilimanjaro Safari ride is an entirely different experience, with animal encounters you won’t see during the day.

5. Test Track.
This ride is our favorite.  It’s a high-speed car ride and our family just loves it.  Everything from designing your own car to taking a drive in the car that you made (well… or so our kids think) is so much fun.

These are just a few rides and attractions to consider, when planning your FastPass+ schedule. If your vacation includes staying at a Disney resort property, you can make your selections up to 60 days in advance. Guests staying elsewhere can schedule thee options up to 30 days before arriving at the park.

Allowing yourself to do this so far ahead saves you tons of idle time when you get to Disney World.

Honestly, there’s so much to see and do, the last thing you want to do is waste time standing in line… especially when you have the option to ride instead!
