angry birds pizza

Our kids love angry birds! They love to play it on the kindle & they love to play the board game (thanks to their friends, C, T & J- they bought us the board game & the kids love it!)
When I heard the idea of making an Angry Birds Pizza- I thought it was a great idea! What a good way to add some tomatoes to their lunch (make your own sauce for this or buy store-bought & add pureed tomatoes) today & have them help me make it!

The kids had a blast!!

So simple to make & our kids loved it!! The three boys ate this one by themselves. (ages 6, 4 & 2)

Before you begin- clean your countertops because you will be rolling out your dough.

We followed an easy pizza crust recipe. I like to bake our crust before I add the toppings, but that’s up to you. I like a crispier crust.

I used sauce that I had made (with extra tomatoes pureed & added in) & added the toppings. Easy & yummy! angry birds pizza 2

PS- In the future, I’ll use store-bought crust. (Easier!)
