Today I wanted to share 5 tips on how you can make going back to school stress free sponsored by Sears.   These 5 things are on my “must-do” list!

4 things to get before school starts

1- Did you see my post on packing lunch once for the week?  It is a time-saver for sure.  It eliminates stress in the mornings!

2- Do your back to school shopping now.  Don’t wait until the weekend before school!  Start shopping right now.   Sears.com gives me access to exclusive apparel, advice, shopping trends, deals and more to get my family back to school easier and faster.  Plus, it is so convenient.  They offer free store pick-up, which means that I can shop online and swing by the store & just use the App (Shop Your Way) to let them know that I’m there!  They will bring everything out to me (do you know how convenient this is for a mom to four little ones?)
Plus, they have some great deals right now:

3- Get your paper ready.  Get some post-it notes (you can find these at Sears.com too) and have them ready to go for all of your notes to your teacher & in your child’s lunchbox.

4- Give your child a pep talk.   Every child needs this, every year.  Talk about how much fun they will have at school and think of a fun story from when YOU were in that very same grade.  I try to think of stories about my teachers in that grade, my friends in that grade and something fun that I remember doing.    It always helps to ease their minds a little.

So- tell me…  What is ONE story from when you were going into SECOND Grade or KINDERGARTEN?  Seriously- tell me!

I’d love to pass it along to our kids that are entering those grades this fall.   I had the best Kindergarten teacher and my second grade class had my two best friends in it- so both were awesome years for me!   What about you?
