With four kids at home, packing lunches can become overwhelming and time-consuming, but I do it because I love my kids, and I want them to be healthy.   A few years ago, I knew that I didn’t want to pack lunches every night, but I also didn’t want to wake up and pack lunches in the mornings.

Today, I’m working with HEALTHY ESSENTIALS® to bring you my favorite healthy lunch hacks.  

I love letting our kids help pack lunches.  I used to do it all myself, but this year, they are old enough and responsible enough to get involved.  I still do some things, like cut up vegetables and have sandwiches ready, but for the most part, they pick and choose what they want using this chart and an organization system like this:
