Marriage is a wonderful thing and it is a lifelong commitment. The strongest marriages are built one memory at a time.  I love to share date-night ideas, because, while they are far and few between, they are fun!  It is always fun to open the door to experiences that are fun for both of you!
5 date night ideas

Wine Tasting

My husband and I went on a wine tasting when we visited The Biltmore last year.   It was a lot of fun to see what they suggested and the different flavors that went into it.   I am not a wine connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination, but it we had a great time.  A wine tasting or wine tour can be an excellent couples’ activity, presenting them with the chance to expand their palates or just get into the romantic spirit.  There are respected vintners in practically every area of the country, giving couples plenty of access to the world of new and exciting wines.

Dance Lessons

Sharing a dance lesson can be another way to reignite the spark in your marriage. Not only does dance make a fun physical activity, but regular dancing is a great way to improve fitness. Even better, choosing dance classes as a date can give a couple skills that can be used on later outings, and so dance classes could be considered the date that keeps on dating.  We have never personally taken dance lessons, but my great-Aunt and great-Uncle always did and you should see them dancing!

Art Class

Taking an art class together can be an interesting activity for a couple as well. Art classes can help individuals explore their own talents and learn more about themselves, bringing them closer to their spouses in the process.

Visit somewhere new

A vacation abroad or even to another area of the country can be expensive for most couples, but fortunately it is more than possible to enjoy an escape without extensive travel. Hotel deal and group coupon sites will often deliver outstanding prices on the finest hotels in the area, and these five-star experiences are a welcome reprieve from the grind of daily life.

Instead of the same old dinner and movie, why not try something new together?

Hi there!
