Thanks to Tom’s of Maine for partnering with me today to share tips to naturally whiten teeth. Brushing at least twice a day and picking a toothpaste that works like Tom’s of Maine, since that is a trusted name in natural for over 47 years.  Plus, all Tom’s of Maine® natural personal care and oral care products do not have any artificial colors, flavors, fragrances or preservatives.   Oh- and it’s gluten-free.

Here are 5 hacks to keep teeth white…

1. Brush often, obviously.   Be sure to floss, too.  Did you know that flossing can make you look years younger?   I forget where I read that, but it’s stuck with me.

2.  Use a product that works, like Tom’s of Maine Luminous White™ toothpaste.  It’s the most advanced whitening toothpaste ever.  Whiter teeth in 2 weeks* while being safe on enamel and safe for everyday use.   It is made up of biodegradable or mineral-derived ingredients.

A tube and box of Tom\'s tooth paste lying on the counter.

3. After brushing, rub the inside of a banana peel on your teeth for two minutes.  Once the two minutes are up, rinse well.   It’s rich in potassium, magnesium, manganese, and other minerals, to help whiten teeth.

4. Replace your toothbrush every three months.  When the bristles begin to look worn, swap it out, so you can be sure you are cleaning well.

5.  Drink water instead of tea, coffee & energy drinks.  All of those other things will stain your teeth, while water helps to keep them white.

  1. Hello, Becky!

I have always been coming back to your blog to read some tips and glad you have posted something about teeth whitening. I was surprised to see dark chocolate on the list, did not expect I get to enjoy chocolate while whitening my teeth at the same time. 🙂

    Regards,
    Nicky
