So my friend, Becky B, is so creative!   Today she even though of how to make a snowman even when you don’t have a lot of snow!
Off subject, but she is also so generous.  Besides the fact that she randomly drops off adorable things for our little girl, she also volunteers often at her daughter’s preschool and her son’s first grade class.   Her kids are so sweet and are also friends of my kids.   (Here is a great recipe that she has shared with me, as well)

Make a snowman even when you don't have a lot of snow!

So- today she posted this on Facebook and I asked her if I could share it with you…. Of course, she said Yes.

Today, we welcomed a little snow.  Not much- maybe an inch or two.

Look at how she turned that little amount of snow into a miniature snow family!

They made these little snowmen out of the snow on her porch they are displayed so nicely on her railing!
make a mini snow man when you don't have a lot of snow! HATS:
Her son drew the hats on card stock and Becky cut them out and taped them to a toothpick.  After making the snowman, she inserted the toothpick into the head.

SCARVES:
She cut ribbon for the scarves- gray/black for the boys and pink/red for the girls.

ARMS/LEGS:
Her son used toothpicks for the arms and legs.

EYES:
Raisins

NOSE:
Little Carrots (cut)

PETS:
I think that it is adorable that they made pets, but Becky said that they had wanted to put scarves on the pets and little ears, too.  (Keep that in mind when you make yours).

Isn’t this a great idea?  I am going to do this tomorrow, because a lot of the snow melted and I want the kids to be able to make these before the snow is gone for the season!
