Welcome to my Modern Farmhouse Christmas Dining Room Tour.
Every year, as soon as Thanksgiving is over, we clean up and then we decorate… for Christmas. A few weeks ago, I posted about a Modern Farmhouse Christmas Decor, so I thought that it was only fitting that I share my dining room. The kids love decorating for Christmas, as do I.
It’s a tradition that we look forward to every year. It’s one of my favorite times of the year because I love the white lights, the Christmas trees, and the smiles on everyone’s faces. This year, I’m working with Cracker Barrel on today’s sponsored post, to share how their new holiday dishes inspired my Christmas Dining Room decor.
When you walk into our house, and you look to the right, you will see our dining room, so it’s one of the first rooms that I decorate. You might also see our Goldendoodle looking out the window, waiting for everyone to come. 😉
I decorate the table, the chairs, and the buffet table. I host dinner every year, during the holidays, and it’s nice to know that it looks nice, without having to worry or stress about it.
The colors that I went with this year were red, black, and white. I picked up bows for the backs of the chairs at the ends of the table. I set the kids Gingerbread Cookie houses on the table (one of our kids made Gingerbread cookies, instead of a Gingerbread House, so there are only 3 houses on the table)
I ordered Cracker Barrel’s dinnerwear on shop.crackerbarrel.com.
The plates on our table are layered with a placemat, a large charger, a smaller charger, a large plate, a smaller plate, a napkin, and a napkin holder.
Here is a closeup of the plates. 🙂
While the bottom plate has poppies on it, the smaller plate has a farmhouse rooster.
The bowls have another rooster:
For the napkin holder, I used these birds that my aunt gave me years ago. I try to use them all throughout the year. They are my favorite. This year, I made little burlap napkins to go on the plates.
The salt & pepper shakers are adorable! It’s a little farm, right on your table.
I love the way that it all turned out. I completed the look with a gold tower, filled with pinecones & Christmas ornaments.
I also loved this set: Cracker Barrel’s Dinnerware & Serveware here . It’s versatile for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Which holiday traditions do you use to bring #JoyToTheTable?
