A coffee cup with words on it.

If you are looking for a great gift idea, look no further! This gift has everything wrapped up in one little package: It is easy to make, takes little time, is personal, is practical and looks great!

What you need:
1. Plain white coffee cup (or really whatever you want to use… plate, bowl, cup…) You can get them at the dollar store.
2. Sharpies (any color) – I bought the fine tip. NOT the really small pen-like ones, but the regular markers with the fine tip.
3. An oven to cook these when you are done.

Write your favorite verse or quote on it. Here are a few that would work well:
Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.” Psalm 40:19
“You warm our hearts.”
“You warm my heart.”
“Fill me up, Buttercup.”
“My cup runneth over” Psalm 23:5

Now be sure to personalize it. I had our kids sign their names. You could have them draw a picture.
Write the date on the bottom of the mug. I just put the year.

Bake it at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Add a tea bag or a pack of hot chocolate and you are all set!
