These baseball cookies are so cute and perfect for a baseball party or gathering. They are great for a birthday themed birthday party, too!

Ingredients
Sugar Cookie Ingredients
1Cupunsalted sweet cream buttersoftened
1 1/2Cuppowder sugar
1egg
2teaspoonvanilla
2 1/2Cupflour
1teaspoonbaking soda
1teaspooncream of tarter
1 3inchcircle cookie cutter and 1 baseball mitt cookie cutter
1cookie sheet fitted with parchment paper
Royal Icing Ingredients:
3egg whites
1/2teaspooncream of tarter
1teaspoonvanilla
2 1/2Cuppowder sugar
Brown and Red gel food coloring
3disposable piping bags
2squeeze bottle
1can of brown cake edible spray
Instructions
Sugar Cookie Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a standing mixer, combine butter, powder sugar, egg and vanilla and mix on medium speed until combined and fluffy
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and cream of tarter. Next, Gradually add in the flour to the wet mixture and mix on low speed until combined. Once all the flour has been combined with the wet ingredients, sprinkle some flour onto a cutting board and knead with your hands till everything is combined.
Sprinkle flour onto the cutting board and roll out the dough to 2 inches thick. Use the cookie cutters and cut your shapes.
Bake in the oven for 7-9 minutes or until slightly golden brownPlace onto a wire rack to cool
Icing Instructions
Using the standing mixer, combine the egg whites, cream of tarter, powder sugar and vanilla and mix on medium speed until stiff peaks form.
Split the icing into three bowls.
Add a few drops of brown food coloring into one bowl and mix until combined. Add a few more drops as needed to get the shade of brown you want.... Scoop some icing into a piping bag and set aside
Using the remaining brown icing, add about 2-3 tbsp of cold water to thin out the icing. Pour thinned icing into a squeeze bottle and set aside. Scoop some of the white icing into a piping bag and set aside.
With the left over white icing, add in 2-3 tablespoon of water to thin out the icing. Pour icing into the squeeze bottle. Scoop some icing into the third bowl and add a few drops of red food coloring into the bowl and mix until combined. Scoop the icing into a piping bag and set aside.
HOW to decorate them
Using the white icing in the piping bag, pipe a line around the outer edge of the circle cookies. Fill in the cookies with the thin white icingUsing the brown piping bag, outline the mitt and fill in with the thinned brown icing.
Let cookies dry for about 4-6 hours. Using the red piping bag, pipe on the details of the baseballs. Using the brown piping bag, pipe on the details of the mitts. Let cookies dry for about an hour. Using the cake spray, spray the edges of the cookies to give it a dirty look.
Let the cake spray dry for 30 minutes before enjoying!
