This DIY pipe cleaner bookmark is a really fun way to make a gift! It is also great for fine motor skills for your kids, so let them make one and use it with their favorite book.
Step 1- Get 5 purple pipe cleaners, 1 green pipe cleaner, and one yellow pipe cleaner.
Step 2- Make the pedal (pretzel) shape out of one pipe cleaner.
Step 3- Wrap a yellow pipe cleaner around it.
Step 4- Add more pedals & continue to wrap the yellow around it.
Step 5- If you need extra support, add a green pipe cleaner to it (but only wrapping it in the back) – this will attach to the stem.
Step 6- Make a stem & leaf out of the green pipe cleaner.
Step 7- Attach it to the other green one. (twist them together.
Step 8- Fluff it out, make it how you want it and then place it into your child’s favorite book (or your favorite book!) and use it as a bookmark (or give it as a gift)
