Thanks to ZURU for sponsoring today’s post  A Just-Because Gift.

When I was younger, some days I would come home from school or from a friend’s house to find a surprise gift on my dresser from my mom.  Sometimes it was socks, sometimes a new shirt, sometimes a candle (I love candles).   No matter what it was… it was an unexpected surprise.    Now that I am grown with four children of my own, it’s no different.   When I run into my mom at church or when we go to my parents’ house to go boating, she often has an unexpected surprise gift for me or the kids.

I do the same thing for our kids.   It’s not the “GIFT” part that matters… it’s the idea that someone was thinking of you.    It’s the idea that when that person saw something, it reminded them of you.

It’s that unexpected surprise that puts a big smile on their faces.   Our kids love when they come home to find a prize waiting for them.   Today, I picked up a few of the 5 Suprise Toys from ZURU.  They were $4.99, so they are an easy thing to toss into the cart and know that you are going to give the kids something they’ll love.   I knew that it would be fun and keep them busy, but the best part was that this toy was a surprise in a surprise!   The first surprise was that they got one… but the second surprise was that each toy was actually FIVE surprise toys!

Each pink or blue capsule opens to reveal 5 sealed segments hiding 5 awesome different toys, but it comes as one toy… the kids thought it was the coolest thing!

Once they got it, they just needed to unwrap, peel and reveal the 5 Surprise – the toy that combines the magic of unboxing with the thrill of collecting toys.   Each capsule opens to reveal 5 sealed segments hiding 5 awesome different toys.    I took a video of the kids unboxing & opening their 5 Surprise…

The best part was that once we were done, they went off to start trading their toys.   Plus, they were already talking about collecting them.  Between the pink and blue capsules, there is a range of over 300 unique and fun toys in total (150 for pink and 150 for blue), so they will have a lot of collecting and trading in their future.  They were using the collector’s guide to see what they wanted to get.   It’s a fun gift because it is going to be new and exciting every time the capsule blooms!

It’s a fun little gift that will make their day!

Anything that encourages playing together is a win in my book!!
