This Homemade Southern Strawberry Lemonade is so refreshing… & it looks just as great as it tastes!   It’s a perfect summertime drink, and right now, the weather is perfect for this southern-style homemade strawberry lemonade and grilled corn on the cob.

Plus, the farm up the road has started selling their strawberries by the basket (and I’ve been buying), which means we’ve been enjoying this cold, frothy, sweet drink for the past few days. 🍓  The kids have LOVED it… as have the adults!

Our kids love this recipe – the tart lemon with a little sweetness of strawberry makes the perfect flavor combination for a refreshing & fruity summer drink!

The kids love to help in the kitchen, in fact, they have made this recipe a couple of times without my help, so that should tell you that it’s pretty easy AND that they love it!

We like to make this (or s’mores nachos) when we’re sitting outside at night around a fire, or while we’re on vacation, or even when we’re relaxing or playing at home & we are ready for a quick refreshing treat.

If you make this one to take on a trip or to take camping, it’s pretty easy for me to make the simple syrup with the strawberries at home before heading out, then just mix it together with the lemon juice and water once you’ve arrived.

Note: You could easily mix in an adult beverage to this recipe too if you want to try that!
