Do you want the perfect Super Bowl Hamburger dip (or just a great Friday Night recipe) to make for your family or friends is this delicious Hamburger Dip. It’s loaded with cheese, tomatoes, hamburger and fresh cilantro. It’s a hit with our family and it’s a great football appetizer!

A bowl of food,

We love celebrating football with friends, but that’s not the only time to have this dip.  Even a Friday night at home (one of our lazy nights when it comes to making meals) is a great time for this dip. We like to keep it easy and to be honest that’s when we have the most fun with our food. There’s been plenty of nights when we’re headed to watch a football game that we end up having something like our Mini Taco Pizza Recipe.

This hamburger dip is kind of the same type of recipe, it’s quick, easy and delicious. It’s full of meat, cheese, and veggies so there’s plenty of times we have this as a meal. Of course, we also serve it at tailgate parties, potlucks and just about anytime we need a quick little dip to take to a party.

I think after the first time you make this recipe, it’s going to be a fast favorite at your house!

How to Make this Hamburger Dip

Ingredients You Need

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1 2 Pound Package of Velveeta
  • 1 (10 ounces) Can of Rotel
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheese (I used a Mexican Blend)
  • Fresh Cilantro
  • Chips

Instructions

Step 1 – Brown the ground beef in a large pan if you’re going to make the recipe in the pan and not the slow cooker

Step 2 – Add the Velveeta and Rotel, I add the Velveeta a little at a time.  If you’re making the dip in the slow cooker, I add all the Velveta at once with the Rotel and cook on low for 4 hours

Step 3 – After the Velveeta and Rotel and melted and mixed together with the hamburger, add the shredded cheese and Cilantro on top before serving.  Enjoy!
