We recently had our son’s birthday party at Chuck E Cheese’s and I wanted to give you some tips that we learned along the way (it was our first one there). First off, it was seriously the easiest party for me, but the most fun party for him! I am partnering with Chuck E Cheese’s to share our favorite tips.

The planning stage was so much fun. I had Ethan get involved in the whole thing. The website made it VERY easy and I literally had it planned in under ten minutes. We had been to several parties there, but prior to booking our own, I hadn’t realized how truly great it could be. There were so many options and we were able to pick and choose what we wanted to have the perfect birthday party for Ethan.

OK so to book the party… follow these steps:

1- Book the party by clicking on BIRTHDAY.

2- Pick your location

3- Pick how many you will be inviting (minimum of four need to be there).

4- Choose your date & 2 hour block of time.

5- Choose your party options: Star, Super Star, and Mega Super Star. We went with Mega Super Star and I’m glad that we did! I literally did NOTHING for the party because Mega Super Star comes with it all- party bags, Small cup of Dippin Dots, Star collectible cup with free refills for the life of the cup, Pull string pinata loaded with 400 tickets and 40 tokens, 2 hours of play time (tokens for 2 hours), 1000 Tickets for the Birthday Star and a little dress up outfit & photo board:

TIPS:

1- No need to arrive too early. We arrived just ten minutes prior to the party and we were ready to greet guests when the party started.

2- If you give tokens to the adults, they will play like a child! 🙂

3- Choosing the MEGA SUPER STAR party was worth it because I literally walked in and walked out. I didn’t take a cake, I didn’t take ice cream, I didn’t take party favor bags… I did nothing because they did it all.

4- If you get the MEGA SUPER STAR party package, they can keep these cups for the life of the cup. We plan on using ours every time that we go back.

5- When in the ticket blaster, you can kick the tickets up from the bottom. This helps to spread the fallen tickets around again.

6- Your birthday boy/girl can take a friend/sibling into the ticket blaster to help them.

7- If your child doesn’t use the 120 tokens (enough for 2 hours), you can use them for your next visit.

8- Order the cake with them. It was a great price and so much easier!

9- Order extra pizzas for the grown-ups. Everyone said that they liked it so much more than they remembered when they were kids. 🙂

10- Be sure to get a lot of pictures with Chuck E. Cheese. He was so nice and let all of the kids hug him & give him high fives.

All in all, we will be doing it again. It was so easy & definitely worth the price and time. I literally did nothing but go. 🙂 The kids had fun, we had fun & they were so attentive. A win-win.
