Hi!

So… it turns out that we have a few things in common. You love a good deal as much as I do!   🙂 I think that for as long as I have know about shopping and money, I have been on the hunt for the best deal. I love freebies, discounts and all things savings.

My friend Hillary says that our motto is “If it’s free, it’s for me.”

My mom isn’t any different. She taught me to wait for everything to go on sale before buying it. I even wrote a book about how to save more money.

Anyway, I am going to use this e-mail to send you my best deals, giveaways and freebies. If I see something that I think you would like, at a price that I know we would both like, I’ll be sure to send it your way. In the meantime, feel free to write back anytime or send pictures of what you get or your deals. 🙂

OH!! I just started a private Facebook Group to share these deals. We could share deals that we find at different stores or online and ‘share the wealth’ of knowledge that way. 🙂 I’ll call it YOUR MODERN DEALS.

Since it is private, meaning that only the people that are IN the group can see what we are sharing, you have to request to join. I’ll approve your requests (hopefully within 24 hours) and if you know someone that wants to be in it, you can go ahead and approve their request, as well. 🙂

    Just wanted to comment on your mentioning your Mom on here. My Mom was a coupon queen, supplying our local Food Pantry with her bargain items. She was fantastic on saving money. I do appreciate the fact that you mention your Mom and give her credit. Cherish every moment you have with her. My Mom passed away, way too soon.

  4. I LOVE reading you’re blog! I am a teacher (pre-k) as well as a mother of 5 wonderful children. I always find many useful tips and ideas when I read your blog. About starting a blog, I am very apprehensive, I don’t know if I have anything readers would want to read??? How did you get started?
