This sponsored recipe that I am making today is for a chocolate and peanut butter treat…  this Reese’s Frozen Smoothie  is one that you are going to love!  It is quick, easy and fantastic, if I do say so myself!

I am always trying to come up with a few fun after-school snacks and mid-afternoon snacks that will taste great and keep us full until dinner.

This recipe is so easy and will take you just a few minutes to make.

You can find a few more ideas by visiting the AppleFest demo happening in stores during the weekend of November 13th-16th.
While you are there, pick up the Reese’s Spreads – I was so excited to see it in Walmart.  I found it in the Peanut Butter.

So I start out with Reese’s spreads, because it is the perfect combo of Peanut Butter & Chocolate (I love the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup so this is just a new way to enjoy it!)

We actually keep it in the house because our third son loves to put it on his waffles and our other two boys like to spread it on their apple slices.  (Our two year old daughter would be happy to just spread it on a spoon and eat it that way- haha!)

Recipe:

  • 2 Tablespoons Reese’s Spreads
  • 1 Cup Vanilla Unsweet Almond Milk
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice
  • 1 Tablespoon of protein powder (optional)
  • Shaved chocolate on top – I mostly do this because I love how pretty it looks! Here is how to make it:
Mix the Reese’s Spreads with the milk and ice in a blender:H 1

Serve it in a great little mason jar (You could even put the jar in the freezer for a few minutes to get a frosted look).
(I had to get a close up for you!)

Shave some chocolate pieces on top (just use a peeler and ‘peel’ a Chocolate bar)
Reese's drink

That’s all there is to it!

This makes for a great afternoon snack.  I like to pair it with the apples and dip…  (you should try the HoneyCrisp Apples with this Reese’s Spread… seriously so good!  My friend, Hillary, introduced me to these apples and they are fantastic!)
