So I have found my new favorite board game, by a long shot!  This game is seriously perfect for our kids.  This week I played this game with our sons, ages 7, 6 and 4 and my nephew played it with me, too… age 5.    I think that we played this a minimum of 6 times on vacation.  I kid you not. It is my new favorite game for family game night!

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and EQtainment, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia  #Qsracetothetop https://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

This game teaches emotional intelligence as the monkey, Q has to Race to the Top.

I took some pictures of the game to show you what I mean by it being the best.

So this is how the board looks.  It comes with one die, four monkey game pieces and three sets of cards.  When you land on a color, you pick up that same color card.   (If you land on green, grab a green card.)

Our oldest son could read his questions by himself, but out other kids couldn’t so I just read it for them.  They still loved playing!

Here is an example of one of the cards.  The questions are all really great for emotional thinking!

  • EQtainment helps kids practice emotional intelligence through fun and affordable games, storybooks, and videos.
  • Think of EQ as all the important skills outside of their IQ or academic education, such as self control, motivation, empathy, and social skills.
  • Studies have shown that having a high emotional quotient boosts career success, relationship satisfaction, leadership skills, health, humor, and happiness.

Our kids loved this one.  haha!

If you land on the red cards, they are action cards.   Some examples are: Jump on one foot, balance your game piece on two fingers, do 20 jumping jacks, have a staring contest, or this one…

Also can’t wait to try your crock pot recipes I have 8 people in my house and I am tired of all the cooking and cleaning up I’m always looking for something simple.
