This week, I am sharing a pin from The Military Wife & Mom and it is about Teaching Early Table Manners.  I think that this is so important!!  I loved this part:

Before I offer my [12 month old] son food (or a second helping), I wait for a happy spirit, which means no whining, crying or screaming for more food.   Please and thank you are appreciated, but a happy spirit is usually required. We also require a happy spirit before removing him from his high chair. No whining in order to get down. This is something we are currently doing, and it’s working really well.
