Fall sweet treats for those chilly nights are perfect for this time of year, aren’t they?  I love fall as you can probably tell by all of the fall posts I’ve been writing.   Today I wanted to share my favorite recipes from last week’s pin-it party.  Most of them are fall-inspired!

chilly night favorites

This first one is for Skillet Smores from Flavoursandfrosting.com.  It looks so good and so easy!  A little cookie dough, chocolate bars & marshmallows, cooked to gooey perfection.

In the mood for some peanut butter?  Try this 4 ingredient Peanut Butter Lasagna by hugsandcookiesxoxo.com.   I think that I would have to try REALLY HARD not to eat this one straight out of the pan.   I’m not sure that I would be very successful.

This 4 ingredient ice cream from Pint Sized Baker looks really delicious  (ps- did you know that I have an ice cream obsession?)   I normally go for store-bought (well, I am picky in the brands that I pick, too), but this homemade one looks wonderful!

T his Carrot Cake Smoothie from homemadehooplah.com look amazing!   We are smoothie fans in our house.  Every night, right after football practice, Mickey, Jack & Beau come home and make smoothies.   They can have their coconut smoothie while I stick with this carrot cake smoothie, thank you very much.

These Caramel Apple Parfaits from Pink Recipe Box look so good… and the best part is that I could make them for breakfast.  They look like an after-dinner snack, but they are really greek yogurt, granola, apples and caramel!  Yes, please! caramel-apple-parfaits-recipe1
These (super easy) Acorn Cookies by Ann’s Entitled Life look like so much fun!  I love recipes that I can make with the kids and this one is perfect.   Plus, I am a huge fan of Hershey’s kisses and could eat a whole bag (which makes me wonder how many kisses would actually turn into cookies if I was in charge of making them.)

Did you know that you can turn your yogurt into frozen yogurt so easily?  So, I foolishly thought that all that you had to do was freeze yogurt, in the package, and it would turn out like creamy fro-yo.   That certainly didn’t pan out for me… but this recipe from This Silly Girl’s Life only takes 3 ingredients and it actually does turn out creamy and delicious!  Woo-Hoo!

Do you love potato chips and chocolate?   Try putting them together for this fall-favorite Football Potato Chips that our kids have come to LOVE!   It is probably more of the fun of eating a football potato chip than the actual flavor, but hey- they think it is so fun, so who am I to argue?
