Last year, we had Ethan’s birthday party at Chuck E Cheese’s and this year we held Beau’s there.  I work with Chuck E Cheese’s often on sponsored posts, like this one, so it was no surprise that we would want to hold their birthday party there.  I love working with companies like this, because you really get to know what the brand stands for, and Chuck E Cheese’s stands for the kids!

Today I want to share 3 things that I learned that will make any Chuck E Cheese’s party great!

1. Book online!   I love to book their parties online because it is simple, easy and I can do it on my own time.  Plus, when you book online, you get bonus tickets and tokens.   Plus, you can see a calendar that shows you when you can come for your party and they send you an e-mail confirmation right after you book it.   It’s easy to book… you just book the party by clicking on BIRTHDAY. Then you pick your location, number of guests, your date (two hour block of time) and your party options.  You can pick any options, like food, cake, prize packs, etc…

2- Let the host give them a few tips on making the most out of the ticket booth.  We had the sweetest host and she taught Beau some tricks of the trade, like using his shirt, to get more tickets.   He followed her advice & he scored big time!  He was SO excited!

3. NO CLEAN UP!  My favorite part is that they have a package that includes everything from the food to the cake to the gift packs and the best part… no clean-up!   They do it for you.    This gives the parents time to hang out with the kids and not worry about the ‘party’ part.   I was able to catch a lot of great moments… like this one of Ethan winning a TON of tickets!

4- You can bring your own cake, if you want to.  Last year, we opted for the Chuck E Cheese’s cake, but this year, Beau wanted cookie cake sandwiches.  That’s one of my favorite parts about a Chuck E Cheese’s party: the flexibility.  You can do as much or as little as you want.

5- Remember to take a picture with your birthday boy or girl!   As the mom, we are always behind the camera, aren’t we?   This time, the party host reminded me to get in the picture with him.  She used my phone to snap a picture of me (and my “MOM” badge that they gave me.)  I normally wouldn’t have thought to be in a picture, but now I have this memory and I will cherish it.

All in all, it was a blast.  It was great for me, because I could spend all of my time & energy on my birthday boy, while Chuck E Cheese’s took care of the party.  It was great for the kids, because it had everything they wanted: friends, food, games and prizes!

Ps- book now through mid-August and if you have more than 12 friends, they get free cotton candy!
