I love taking pictures of our kids and our family, even when I’m not-so-great at sending out those cards. This year, when I ordered our cards, I saw so many adorable poses online & wanted to share them with you. Here are the 10 best poses for Christmas cards (according to Becky, that is) 😉
1- A shared candid moment.
2. Legs. I love this look of the parents’ legs with the kids’ full bodies- it reminds us how tiny they truly are.
3. PERSONALITY!
A picture that shows off their personality is always a hit. It ends up being perfect as a reminder of how they once were. 🙂
4. Love.
This one stood out to me because the parents had such a love for this child and you can see the JOY in that child’s face because of it.
5. Wow.
A picture like this just wows you. Black & White makes this baby’s eyes stand out even more… and I love how the focus is on the eyes, so the eyes are in the center of the photo and you can’t even see the baby’s mouth.
6. The things we love.
My favorite thing about this picture is that these sisters are dressed up like princesses… and why shouldn’t they be? After all… it is Christmas and they are HAPPY. I love this idea.
7. Simple.
This picture and pose are perfect because it is simple. This is life… they aren’t posing for the camera (well, if they are, you can’t tell). It is just life.
8. Beach
There is nothing better than a picture at the beach… well, unless you put a little girl in a gorgeous dress in the picture and tell her to dance like no one is watching. I love how you can feel the joy and peace in this picture. 
9. Excitement!
This one is perfect for Christmas, isn’t it? What’s next? Where’s Santa? Are the presents here yet? Can we meet the reindeer? Are we visiting family tonight? 
10. A special occasion.
Use Christmas as a time to remember your favorite special occasion from that year: a wedding, engagement, birth? Celebrate it.
